Last weekend I was visiting a friend who lives in Venice, when I stumbled across Vert! Vert is the Meca of natural cosmetics. Owner Renata Helfman, at a early age had a passion for all things beautiful and natural, so she decided to become a makeup artist.
The concept of Vert started when Renata's doctor asked her to change all her personal and home care products to those without chemicals. She found that being sustainable no longer meant having to sacrifice luxury and sophistication. Not having a one-stop source for eco-friendly cosmetics, Renata realized why not open one. Being a celebrity makeup artist the store quickly gained buzz among the media. Coming into Vert is a destination where you can learn about your skin, makeup, and green living.
